There are four things you must know...

1. YOU ARE A SINNER:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

We commit sins because of our nature and decisions to do so. God sees everything; our acts and  even our thoughts. Maybe you are ashamed because of the sins you have done.

2. WE DESERVE JUDGEMENT BECAUSE OF OUR SINS:

"For the wages of sin is death;..." (Romans 6:23a)

We have to pay for our sins. God says that we need to pay for it by death. Jesus said, there are two deaths:

(1) Physical death

God knows the exact time when you will die. You cannot escape it, you can only prepare for it.

(2) Spiritual death

Spiritual death is when an individual dies without asking for forgiveness to his or her sins from God. That person will pay for their own sins, and is sent to be in hell forever.  (By the way, hell was not created for mankind, but for satan, and his demons.) God does not want anyone to suffer punisment in hell...

"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, as a free gift to us and if we repent from our sins and believe in Him by accepting Him as our Savior, then He will save us from hell and one day He will take us to be forever in Heaven.

You cannot buy or earn a gift. You can only accept a gift. We can only have forgiveness, if we accept Jesus Christ once and for all by faith, as a  free GIFT into our hearts.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast."
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

Yes, Jesus died for every person, but not everyone will go to heaven, only those, who receive Him through faith. You can either accept Christ, or reject Christ. There is no middle ground. No one is born with having accepted Jesus into their hearts. He is a "gentleman", and does not save, unless He is called upon.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

3. YOU CAN BE SAVED TODAY:

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

God let Jesus pay for our sins by allowing Him to die in our place on the cross. He was spit upon, whipped, bruised and then he was nailed on the cross for you and I because He loves us.

He died on the cross, and was buried, but then He arose after 3 days and is now in Heaven, to prepare a place for us. If you would have been the only sinner in the whole world, He would have died for you. He loves you.

If you want to be saved from hell, you need to come to God by repenting your sins and accepting Jesus Christ  as your personal Savior by faith. This is the only way to Heaven according to the Bible!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

If you were to die right now, without asking for forgiveness, where would you spend eternity according to the  Bible?

Is this what you really want?

4. YOU CAN HAVE FORGIVENESS TODAY:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

If you ask Jesus Christ, by faith, to forgive your sins and save you from hell, then He will save you! Call upon Him today!
